Pilgrimage IoM is a joint initiative between Manx National Heritage, Cathedral IoM, Praying the Keeills and Dr Avril Maddrell a researcher from UWE Bristol. On Saturday 10th September Pilgrimage IoM launches walking and touring trails, website and app, and art exhibition, which explore the island’s Celtic-Norse faith heritage.

There is a Saturday evening’s service of reflection in Peel castle with the Bishop et al, a procession and Ruth Keggin Band gig in the Cathedral.

The Director of St Olav’s Way, Trondheim, and the Director of the National Museum of Iceland are taking part in the launch.

The Art exhibition celebrates the theme: ‘Reflective Christian Spirituality and Pilgrimage’. Artists represented are: Mary Gulland, Rosie Wood, Rachel Corkish, Gary Bennett, Di Beckerson, Shane Lucas, Petrina Kent, Paul Parker, Andrea Jeavons and Gillian Hinds.
