“This is one of a collection of Ralph Courtie paintings which were acquired over a period of time in the 1980s. They are particularly interesting because of a different technique that the author has used with acrylic paints and, of course, depict an assortment of beautiful land and seascapes on the Isle of Man. The author has found interesting studies in the surrounds of country villages such as Marown and Patrick and has captured an enigmatic view of the well known misty mountain and a panoramic view of the south of the island.”
