I had the pleasure of meeting Rosie Wood on Sunday at the Isle Gallery. Rosie is fascinated by the minutia and detail that we overlook in our everyday lives and has been working on a series of what she calls ‘Hullscapes’. These are ultra close-up photographs of the hulls of boats, their paintwork weathered and worn to produce what could almost be seen as landscapes if you didn’t know what they were. Natures work on these vessels has helped Rosie to create some beautiful images.
